June 2015 Before and After! | WHITE HOMES

Hello all!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm kicking off June (I can't even believe it) with another before and after link up!

First I have to share off a few of the awesome projects that were linked up last month. As always these bloggers do not disappoint! I continue to be in awe of the talent out there in blogland.

I absolutely loved Heather's stair makeover:

painting wood stairs

The wood was in bad shape and wasn't staining well, so they went with this painted look instead. Beautiful right?

Sally's living room reveal is so, so pretty:

I think that wall color is a perfect gray color. Such well done, peaceful space.

Angela shared her completed subway tile backsplash and all the steps on installing it:

I'm always torn on the grout color for classic subway tile -- I prefer white grout to the dark gray look, but I do love some contrast too. I love the color they picked -- it's just enough contrast and still feels light and bright!

My friend Julia made over her son's room in classic navy and white and I love it!

Those planked walls are perfection and are the perfect combo with the dark blue.

Antonella shares the how to for those of you who want to paint your stair handles without sanding:

I mean, sanding down all those little crevices sounds as fun as poking a stick in your eye, seriously.

Sheila found the perfect art for over her mantel at a store I often forget about -- and I'm guessing it was a great price too:

Isn't that room beautiful? The sconces over the fireplace are so lovely too.

And finally, a super easy planter project from Christina using some dollar store glass and spray paint:

She used that mirrored spray paint and that stuff intrigues me -- I've always wanted to try it out. I love this look!
